What can Viora Laser Treatments do?

PCR™ takes full advantage of adjustable pulse types and duration in order to perform an array of treatments. Viora’s exciting, proprietary technology can give you long term, life changing results!

Hair Removal: By using the dedicated hair removal filters, light beams directly arrive at the target tissue heating up and destroying the har bulb while the surrounding tissue remains intact via the selective photo-thermal effect. This gold standard in laser treatments has the ability to penetrate deeper than any other type of laser and features high levels of comfort with powerful contact cooling

Acne Clearance: With a precise filter, light penetrates the skin and destroys the bacteria (P. Acne Bacterium) which causes acne through the photo thermal-chemical effect.

Pigmentation reduction: The pigmented lesion contains high concentrations of melanocytes. The light absorbed in the lesion creates a controlled burn localized to the target which peels

away along with the spot a few days after treatment leaving an even skin tone.

Vascular treatment: Targeting the epidermal and dermal layers, light heats the target blood vessels, causing coagulation of specific proteins in blood vessels, and in turn leading the body to naturally remove them.

Skin Rejuvenation: Photo-rejuvenation targets skin cells by coagulation and necrosis of dermal and epidermal layers. The body naturally responds to this by creating new cells causing an overall skin renewal to the treatment area.

What skin types are treatable with Viora lasers?

Due to Viora’s advanced PCR™ technology, all skin types can be treated. The Viora IPL and Nd:YAG handpieces allow our practitioners to safely and effectively treat all skin types and tones. Do laser treatments hurt?

With Viora’s contact cooling system, that provides cooling before, during and after each pulse, our light technology treatments provide the most comfortable experiences possible.

How long do treatments take?

Viora’s PCR™ technology includes variable pulse configurations, enabling rapid treatments, among the fastest in the industry. Exact treatment time can range between 5 to 40 minutes, depending upon the specific application, each individual patient’s condition, and the specific area that is being targeted for treatment.

How much do laser hair removal and laser skin treatments cost?

The cost for laser hair removal, pigmentation treatments, skin rejuvenation and other laser skin services vary depending on the service and area treated.

A la carte treatments can range from $100 to $1000.

Hair removal and pigmentation treatments typically need 2 to 6 sessions to treat the area completely. In order to determine the number of treatments needed in order for you to experience the best results AND to get the best pricing for your custom laser treatment package, you will need to book a consultation with our Client Care Coordinator.

When will I see results from my laser treatment?

While each person is different, results for light technology treatments can be seen after the first session.

How many treatment sessions will I need?

Treatments sessions with Viora are determined by the specific treatment option that meets your goals and the Viora handpiece that will provide the best results. For laser treatments with IPL, the number of treatment sessions typically range from 1 - 10 treatments, depending on the actual application needed, and each patient. For laser treatments with Nd:YAG, typically the number of treatment sessions range from 4 - 8 treatments. How long do the results last?

One maintenance session is generally recommended every 3-6 months, or as required (although in some skin conditions, maintenance is not required).
